We have received exciting news that the infrastructure and Regulatory Committee have approved the new Manapouri Grove street names for stage 1B to be in line with Kelsons theme of featuring South Island.
See below the new names:
Kairaumati Crescent
- Kairamati relates to a small glacial lake in South Westland – Te Ara Kairaumati.
Takapō Grove
- Takapō, meaning "to leave in haste at night" and is the Māori name for ‘Tekapo lake.
Mohua Way
- Mōhua is a small bird found in the South Island and Stewart Island - also known as the Yellowhead.
