Progress update for construction of the Cannon Point Development.
Overview
Progress over the project as a whole has progressed well since the last update with all necessary building consents now approved for stage 2 of the development and engineering approval for all civil works currently in the final round of RFI’s. Earthworks has been halted over the winter months iaw GWRC guidelines with the overall condition of the site has held up well through the bad weather over the winter months and has not required anything more than minor remediation.
Stage 1
Stage 1 of Cannon Point has been completed, titles have been issued and all titles have been settled.
Stage 2
Stage 2 is still intended to be broken into 2 stages, 2a and 2b. Stage 2a will consist of lots 13-27 and lots 31-36. Stage 2b will consist of lots 28-30 and 37-46. This split is based on the civil works.
Earthworks
Earthworks for all of Stage 2 are to be continued on the 1 October, in line with GWRC guidelines, these have fallen behind due to weather delays during the year.
Stage 2a
Civil Works
Civil works are still programmed for completion 14 October at this stage
Titles
Titles are now programmed for 12 December
Stage 2b
Civil Works
Civil works are programmed to be completed 20 December
Titles
Titles are programmed to be issued 30 January.
