First Home Buyer Grant
Getting onto the property ladder is as challenging as ever for kiwi first home buyers.
That’s why we are now offering a grant to first home buyers who purchase from us at Richmond Villas.
This will be very similar to the now cancelled Government first home buyer grant, however we have simplified the process.
To qualify you must meet the following criteria:
- First home buyer (meaning you do not currently own or have an interest in another property).
- Earn less than $160,000 p.a. as a single person or
- Earn less than $250,000 p.a. combined as a couple.
- Adhere to the normal bank lending deposit requirements.
- Intend to live in the home for at least 3 months from the date of settlement. Purchase a Richmond Villas property being sold by BEW Properties 2021 Ltd.
How do I receive the payment?
Payment of the $10,000 will be made to your solicitor’s trust account 3 working days after the latter of the following conditions is met:
- You enter into a sale & purchase agreement for a property being sold by BEW Properties 2021 Ltd
- Your solicitor provides an undertaking to BEW Properties 2021 Ltd’s solicitor that the $10,000 will be held in their trust account, until which time it is used as part payment to BEW Properties 2021 Ltd’s solicitors trust account for the deposit on the purchase of the property once the sale and purchase agreement goes unconditional.
- Fully refunded to BEW Properties 2021 Ltd’s solicitors trust account within 3 working days, in the event the purchase is not confirmed as being unconditional.
