August was another busy month for Avalon Apartments, with the additional internal demolition work started. Confirming that the actual apartment fitouts will recommence in September. The first corner of the scaffold has been assembled, that will provide alternative access to the building for the construction team.
Progress has also been made on the actual site: preparation is underway for the ground floor’s exterior landscaping, and existing elements of the private road have been ripped up ready for installation of new pipes and laying of the car park pavement.
The inbound goods team managed the delivery of lift equipment, internal doors, floor coverings, insulation, and plumbing materials. Busy time onsite!
Programmed completion:
As communicated last month, we do need to reforecast completion due to the delay caused by additional demolition requirements. We will update you once the new milestones are confirmed and agreed by all parties.
