On Wednesday 18 February, the much-anticipated new development officially opened its doors in a warm and celebratory event that brought together community members, supporters, and project partners.
Among those in attendance were Chris Bishop and Ken Laban, who joined guests to mark the occasion and show their support for the project.
The morning began with a series of heartfelt speeches recognising Craig Stewart's dedication and hard work in bringing the development to life. Speakers highlighted his vision, commitment, and the lasting impact the project is expected to have. The appreciation shared throughout the ceremony made it clear that this milestone represents not just a new building, but the culmination of years of effort and community backing.
Following the speeches, guests gathered for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony — a proud and symbolic moment marking the opening of the development. Applause filled the space as the ribbon was cut, signalling the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Attendees were then invited to tour the beautifully presented show home, where they explored the thoughtfully designed spaces and gained a first-hand look at what the development has to offer.
The event concluded with a relaxed morning tea, providing an opportunity for guests to connect, reflect on the journey so far, and celebrate the achievement together.
